In-person consultations are a fun, effective way for us to get to know each other and determine how we can get you closer to the garden you want.
Sometimes we brainstorm immediate solutions, but often it's spent establishing an approach for the first year of working together. This is also time for you to ask anything you’ve been wondering about!
By the end of our time together, I will have a clear understanding of how I can best support your dreams and put together a tailored proposal.
How long will it last?
Typically a consult lasts an hour and I ask $95 for a consult. We may spend more time together if your property or ideas are complex. This is a partnership and I don’t bill by the minute!
DO I NEED TO PREPARE ANYTHING?
The best thing you can prepare is an answer to the question, “How do you want to feel when you’re outside?” Peaceful, zen, cheerful, playful, productive, part of a larger ecosystem, like you’re on holiday in the countryside, like an urban farmer, like an experimental florist, like a visitor at an elegant retreat, like a tourist in a garden. There are no wrong answers.

Lauren will partner with you to make the right investments and avoid unnecessary costs. It takes 2-3 years for a property reach its fullest potential, so projects can be phased and planned for.
