THROW A GARDEN PLANNING PARTY

HOW IT WORKS

Grab 3-7 friends and host a Floricult Garden Planning Party in your home! You play host in any way you prefer (food & alcohol allowed) and Lauren will bring all necessary planning materials.

We will spend a fun 2 hours together walking through an easy process for planning a vegetable and herb garden.

Meant for new or mid-level gardeners, each partygoer will…

  • Learn how to select regional heirloom plants

  • Learn how to map out their growing space

  • Learn the basics of good soil, seed starting vs transplanting, & growing at the right time

  • Build their own year-long calendar with our proprietary dynamic garden calendar

  • Be able to troubleshoot past challenges with Lauren

  • Leave with a shopping list for seeds, transplants, & any other materials

WANT TO HOST A PARTY?

Submit your name and contact information and Lauren will reach out within 2-3 days.

Garden Parties are $350. This covers printed materials, a proprietary digital garden calendar ($27) for each guest, and a DAMN GOOD TIME.

Attending a party? Here’s what to bring:

  • Your laptop!

  • A notebook and pen

  • Any seed catalogs you have

  • Rough measurements of your existing or planned garden area (for example: three 4x4 beds, or an 8x20 patch where I can do rows)

  • A nice thank you card for your host <3

HOSTING A PARTY? HERE ARE SOME TIPS:

  • Ask guests to arrive 15 minutes ahead, especially if they’re new to your home

  • Write down your wifi password ahead of time

  • Don’t put too many people at a table. Laptops, notebooks, and catalogs will take up space!

  • Arrange childcare. They are always welcome, but I’ve seen a lot of parents be frustrated they can’t pay attention during their long-awaited and limited Garden Time!

  • High-five yourself for being the most fun person in the friend group :)
